Kleinfeldt performs building Design Reviews when a perceived structural problem exists; for example, at the appearance of cracks. Utilizing thorough inspection techniques and design review, on-staff specialists at Kleinfeldt examine the evidence to understand what is causing the structural weakness. Our designs are then peer-reviewed by other engineers, who provide input into the investigative process and sign off when the design satisfies good engineering practice and building codes.
Design Reviews are also a requirement if you are considering a load change to your building; for example, if updates to A/C units are planned, and if the replacement A/C units are of a different size than the original equipment.
