Our Services Asbestos Surveys and Remediation Management Under the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario, buildings used by the public or by staff of an employer must ensure that if asbestos is present within the building, certain procedures and safety protocol are followed to properly protect the occupants. Generally, in dealing with Owners and Occupiers of buildings, we hear the question; "How do I know if I have asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)?". The simple answer is to have a qualified engineering firm survey the building to determine if any ACMs are present. If they are, then procedures can be set into place to remove, repair, or encapsulate the materials so as to eliminate the hazard that may be present to the occupiers of the building. Kleinfeldt Consultants Limited has been surveying and supervising asbestos projects for more then twenty years, and can handle projects from small residential inspections to major project management and consultancy involving full demolition of buildings and their associated asbestos-containing construction components.
