- Various Phase I, II and III Site Assessments of individual properties
- Hazardous materials surveys and evaluation of low-level radioactive impact in soil.

These consulting services for West Don Lands involved liaison with provincial and municipal officials, recognition of the interests of such stakeholders as the City of Toronto and interaction with the adjacent property owners and tenants in matters involving concerns for both the presence and migration of contaminants.
The four years of service provided familiarity with the environmental planning and development issues and led to Kleinfeldt Consultants Limited's being retained for preparation of an Environmental Management Plan in 2000.
