Kleinfeldt Consultants Limited was prominently featured in a column which appeared in The Globe and Mail Real Estate Section on September 9, 2010.  The article was prepared by Dave Leblanc, a regular Globe and Mail contributor who concentrates on market trends in relation to adaptive reuse of buildings.

Dave interviewed and quoted City of Toronto Mayor David Miller, University of Toronto Architectural Professor Ivan Saleff and several other architects involved with the City of Toronto's Tower Renewal Project.

The news item also included photographs of the well known Swiss Cottage Tower Refurbishment in the United Kingdom which involved the overcladding of four 22-storey tower blocks London over a three-year period. Photographs of two other well-known European façade renewal projects were also included.

The article emphasized the benefits of thermal overcladding with regard to energy conservation, reduction of greenhouse gases and the potential for long-term employment and economic benefits for the city.
