December 1, 2006 Criminals have been misrepresenting themselves by using the identity of Kleinfeldt Consultants Limited. The perpetrators are soliciting prospective employees by email to serve as middlemen "representing" Kleinfeldt Consultants Limited as part of a business expansion. As reported the perpetrators were offering a share of fees collected in return for the middlemen paying a commission or fee to the perpetrator.

January 1, 2006 Ontario Regulation 305/03 (Previously Bill 124) - Changes to the Building Regulatory System Effective January 1, 2006, the Ontario Building Code Act is being amended through Ontario Regulation 305/03 (Previously Bill 124) to require those persons who provide consultation and/or design work for projects that require a building permit be qualified to Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing standards.
