The Energy Innovators Initiative (EII), a program of Natural Resources Canada's Office of Energy Efficiency is currently offering Energy Retrofit Assistance to energy-intensive facilities. Qualifying organizations can be approved for energy retrofit planning costs up to 50%, to a maximum of $25,000, and retrofit assistance to a maximum of 25% or $250,000, based on projected energy savings.
Owners, managers and tenants of Canadian commercial or institutional buildings are eligible for Energy Retrofit Assistance if they join the Energy Innovators Initiative (EII) and are prepared to register with Canada's Climate Change Voluntary Challenge and Registry Inc.
